How to Join
HCAM membership is open to anyone interested in model aviation.

Prerequisites

Before you can join the Hill Country Aeromodelers, you must first become a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics, the national umbrella organization for aeromodeling in the United States. AMA membership includes liability insurance and (with full membership) includes a subscription to the official AMA magazine Model Aviation.
All members must adhere to the AMA and HCAM Safety Codes.

Dues
Club dues are Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per year and new members must pay a one-time initiation fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00). Membership renewals must be paid on or before January 31 of the new membership year to avoid having to pay the initiation fee again.

Prorating
Anyone joining the Club after the first of the year will have his or her dues prorated based on the number of remaining months in the year, with a partial month counting as a full month. For example, someone joining the club on April 15 would pay dues for the first year of Forty-Five Dollars ($45.00), plus an initiation fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00).

Junior Membership
Members age 18 and younger are not required to pay an initiation fee or annual dues, but are required to be current members of AMA.

Application Submission
To submit your membership application, contact any member of the club's Board of Directors or any club officer. If you are at the field, ask a member to direct you to one of these individuals. You may also submit your application at the monthly club meeting.

Or Send it directly to the HCAM Club Treasurer:
