SAFETY CLARIFICATION
All pilots need to fly from behind the net unless they are taking off a new
plane on its first flight. After take-off they are to move behind the net fence.
Only pilots who have permission from the Board of Directors to do a special
demonstration (e.g. 3-D flying) may fly in front of the fence during that demonstration.
If a pilot wants to practice for an event in front of the fence, he must get
permission from a club officer at the field. If no officers are present, then the
pilot must get the OK each pilot on the field and only that pilot may fly at that time.
NEW LOCAL HOBBY SHOPS
We all know the importance of keeping our money here in Texas whenever someone can
earn our business. There have been two new additions to the local hobby shop scene
lately.
Be sure to check out The Hobby Express in Cedar Park.
The owner has expressed to me that their prices are the same as Tower Hobbies.
Be sure to support those guys as the work to support us!
HCAM E-Mail List Server
In case you don't know, our club has an e-mail list server
that we can use for general discussions as well as to distribute important messages
to the club membership.
To join the mailing list follow this link. To send an e-email
to the entire club, just send it to hcam-online@googlegroups.com.

Searight Metropolitan Park. HCAM membership is open to the public and spectators are always welcome.
Weather permitting, DeClairmont Field is open for flying 7 days a week, but most flying occurs on the weekends.
